Bariatric Advantage® Calcium Citrate Chewy Bite 500is specially formulated for metabolic and bariatric patients. The American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) guidelines1call for 1,200-1,500 mg of calcium per day for most metabolic and bariatric surgery patients except biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch (BPD-DS) patients, for whom the recommendation is 1,800-2,400 mg per day.1
